Network Marketing’s 4 Deadly Sins …

If one has been involved in marketing – especially network marketing – it is possible one has fallen foul to some of these ….

Take action now to change your style and move your business or project to the next and more attractive, consistent, honest and realistic level…

The 4 deadly sins of network marketing include:

INCONSISTENCY
I speak to myself as much as to everyone.   Enthusiasm can slow down and instead of regular “appearances” on social media, blog, and your advertising or team-building campaigns, you disappear from the scene for a week and come back with gusto.  Disappear again for 2-3 weeks and try again to engage.  This will not do anything for you or those working with you.  Inconsistency will crush all the efforts of any business or project builder. Be consistent.

NEGATIVITY
It is very easy to fall into this trap.   When things go differently to what you had hoped for, it is easy to start the blame game.  Criticizing and talking negatively about a business, an opportunity or an individual  is NOT a solution because that negativity becomes part of your brand. People start seeing you as a  negative person. Leaders cannot maintain a negative attitude and still expect to be known as a leader. It doesn’t work. Real leaders and those who would follow you, will in actual fact start avoiding you.
You  have a choice to create a negative culture, vibe, posture or mindset — OR – you can present a problem-solving mindset that creates opportunity. You can be negative or you can be positive. That’s your choice.

HYPING UP or OVER-INFLATING YOUR PRODUCT or YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Don’t be tempted to exaggerate what your product or opportunity can and cannot do!   Always be in alignment with what your company says you can claim when it comes to your product, making use of relevant disclaimers as appropriate.   It will catch up with you and it will also affect your credibility, so do NOT be tempted.

DISTRIBUTORS WHO BOUNCE FROM COMPANY TO COMPANY TO COMPANY
It is really sad when people go from opportunity to opportunity because they’re literally stealing from their future. They’re actually stealing from their residual income as well as their reputation. People like this will lose followers and will find themselves no longer credible until such time as that person is ready and willing to come back, get their teeth into their opportunity, put their shoulder to the wheel and get to work!
I’ve seen this many a time … so many opportunities are simply missed or neglected because it is dressed in overalls and requires work.   Work that will pay dividends if persevered with.  Remember: every single company in network marketing will have problems.  They are going to go through a period of time when it doesn’t have momentum or when it has to go through change.  Change is difficult.  So hopping from one company to another will not help.  At some point or other the next company will face the same challenges.   So, decide which company and product line you want to align yourself with and decide that you’re going to go through the problems with them rather than looking for an opportunity where there are no problems.   There are none like that!  So stop bouncing around and align yourself with a good company and build your business.

So, although this list is not by any means exhaustive, remember …

Strive to become a network marketing professional. Strive to go to the top, to have a well-planned, honest and smooth career journey, and to build something that will indeed last for a long time.

To your success
